These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Excel Shop Three DBA Excel Shop Furniture Restoration (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, in-store services, and any related communications. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide furniture repair and restoration services. We will assess the condition of your furniture and provide you with an estimate for the repair or restoration. We will only perform the work if you approve the estimate.
2. Estimates and Payment
Estimates are provided based on our initial assessment of the furniture. The actual cost of the repair may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will notify you of any changes to the estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding. Approval can be provided in writing or verbally.
Payment is due upon completion of the repair.
A diagnostic or assessment fee may be charged if you decline the repair after we have evaluated your furniture. This fee covers the time and expertise involved in assessing the condition and repair requirements.
3. Furniture Condition and Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the condition of your furniture and any specific requirements for repair. While we take precautions to protect your furniture, we cannot guarantee against minor imperfections or pre-existing issues being affected during repair.
4. Warranty
We offer different types of warranty based on our repair services. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials used in the repair, for the duration specified depending on the type of service.
The warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage after the repair
- Misuse or negligence
- Damage caused by liquids or external factors
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations to the furniture
The warranty is void if the furniture is altered or tampered with by anyone other than us.
To claim warranty service, you must return the furniture to us with proof of purchase.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any damages arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the repair.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost use, inconvenience, or loss of value.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
6. Abandoned Furniture
If you fail to pick up your repaired furniture within 90 days after we notify you that it is ready, we may consider the furniture abandoned. We will attempt to contact you via phone and email before considering it abandoned.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before disposing of abandoned furniture.
We may sell, donate, or otherwise dispose of abandoned furniture to recoup our costs.
7. SMS/Text Messaging
We use SMS/text messaging through our point-of-sale (POS) system to communicate with you regarding appointment reminders, repair updates, and, with your express consent, occasional promotional offers relevant to your furniture or repair history.
- Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you consent to receive text messages from Excel Shop Three DBA Excel Shop Furniture Restoration for the specified purposes. Consent may be provided verbally.
- Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive. Doing so will remove you from all SMS campaigns managed through our POS provider.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You will primarily receive messages related to scheduled appointments and updates on the status of your furniture repairs. Promotional messages will only be sent to those who have explicitly opted in.

- 10DLC Compliance: We are committed to complying with all applicable 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) regulations and guidelines through SMS services.
Permitted Message Types:
- Appointment Reminders: Notifications about upcoming scheduled appointments.
- Repair Updates: Updates on the status of your furniture repair (e.g., assessment complete, materials ordered, repair completed).
- Missed Call: If we miss a call from you, we’ll send you a message.
- Review Request: After completing a repair, we may request you share feedback on our Google profile.
No Sharing of Information: We will not share your mobile number with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable regulations in Kentucky.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to our services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on our website and update the “Last Updated Date” at the top of this document. Your continued use of our services after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
